These archeytpes are universal and present in everyone's life. Though the order of experience of the archetypes may vary, the order depicted is quite common in human experience. The experience of each archetype appears to be mandatory and we have observed in our work with individuals that if a person has "skipped" experiencing an archetype earlier in life, Nature will create an opportunity for them to embody that particular archetype at some point in their lifetime.
These archetypes also relate to organizational development due to the fact that human beings create organizations, institutions, cultures, nations and governments. Understanding the stages of development from the standpoint of universal systems greatly assists in gaining clarity with respect to current situations and what may expected with regard to future stages and challenges.
