As Social Architects, we are interested in universal principles of structure, process, movement and growth, and utilize general systems and principles in the creation of new forms, structures and processes which support all human creation and interaction.

These maps are based upon general principles of nature and design. A general principle is a description of behavior in nature which is true and present in all cases and at all times.

Maps based upon general principles and natural systems are tremendously useful in that they are not linear, nor are they based entirely upon a human being's mental constructs of systems behaviors. Any subject can be mapped such as: business organizations, growth and change in geographic regions, changes in nations and cultures, an individual's life, etc. Mapping from natural systems perspectives and models allows for the all important inclusion of chaos and change and elements of individual and collective choice. We are able to identify the directions which life, itself, will take and, thereby, make decisions and choices which will allow us to be in a proactive, flow state rather than in a reactive, crisis mode. Anyone desirous of Leadership, whether in an organization or within the context of one's own life, must understand growth and change in living systems and have the willingness to evolve and mature into the embodiment of universal principles of growth and change through space and time.

We have created many maps for use by individuals, organizations and governments having to do with individual, societal, species, archetypal and cultural evolution and create maps specifically related to client domains in the course of our client work. We have made several of these maps available on this web site. You will discover that these maps are pictures of organized discovery and learning and contribute to assisting organizations, institutions and governments in becoming learning organizations and assist individuals in becoming mature learners.

These maps are particularly useful in the creation of vision and missions statements for organizations. Having the ability to observe and understand, from a meta-prospective, the energies of growth and change, gives any organization or individual an opportunity to engage life in a far more creative, powerful and participative manner in which one enters into full partnership with life and with universal principals of evolution and maturation.

Any attempt to map the past, present or future must be based upon an understanding of universal patterns and principles of growth and change through space and time. Only then, will our created maps carry truly useful information, knowledge, meaning and wisdom.
