QUESTIONS TO ASK OF YOURSELF AND YOUR ORGANIZATION |
1. Are you and the rest of your management team clear with respect to knowing, really knowing what business you are in? Are you sure and is your thinking broad enough? Can you creatively re-image your organization on a continuous basis?
2. Do you have a map showing you where you have been, where you are and where you are going? Is the map based upon patterns found in natural systems? Are you aware why this is important?
3. Is there a system in
place for the new learning experienced by any of your employees to be shared
with the culture at large so that everyone can learn together and quickly? Are you
creating a community of mature, collaborative learners?
4. Are you able to fully engage the imagination and creativity of your employees as well as utilize their core competencies? Do you encourage, identify and support emerging, natural leadership -- wherever you find it?
5. Are you able to offer your employees more than money for their work? Can they grow and mature in their jobs, thereby assisting the company to grow and mature?
6. Is there a long-range plan for the continued growth of your company? Are you skilled in the art of process, necessary to implement a long-range plan?
7. Are you and your management team creating virtual partnerships with other companies? Do you understand the true nature of relationship and particularly interrelationship?
8. Do you feel that
if you continue to do what you have done in the past that you will prosper and grow
as you desire?
